THE PROGRAM
The Talent Selection program identifies public school students who stand out in the Brazilian Mathematics Olympiad for Public Schools. They are invited to take the entrance exam at Fundação Getulio Vargas in Rio de Janeiro to enroll in one of the undergraduate courses offered by the institution, such as Applied Mathematics, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, Economic Sciences, Administration, Social Sciences, Law and Digital Communication.
Since the launch of the project in 2017 and the establishment of the Center for the Development of Mathematics and Sciences (CDMS), hundreds of candidates from different states have participated and been approved in FGV's undergraduate courses. These students stand out for their extraordinary learning potential and represent new talents for the future of the country.
