About the Course: 

The undergraduate course in Public Administration aims to provide students with a broad perspective of the Social Sciences, knowledge in public management and policy, coordination, negotiation and decision-making skills, as well as a solid basis for handling international issues.  Through a multidisciplinary education that places human beings at the center of the learning experience, students acquire management skills from debates and case studies, as well as immersion activities in local, national and international contexts.

Public Administration professionals can serve in various levels of government, in non-profit organizations, corporate foundations, international organizations, social enterprises, consultancies for national and international public agencies, utility companies, as well as in government relations and social responsibility roles in the private sector. They can also contribute towards research on Public Policy.

Foreign applicants

São Paulo School of Business Administration (FGV/EAESP) offers a selection process focused on foreign candidates,that consisting of document analysis and an interview over the internet. To qualify, applicants must have foreign or dual nationality, have studied the past four years of High School outside Brazil and enjoy legal immigration status in the Brazil. Dual Degree

You can also enroll in the Dual Degree program and earn diplomas in both Public Administration and Law at the end of the program.

National High School Exam (Enem)

The Undergraduate Business Administration course from the São Paulo School of Business Administration (EAESP) offers the following scholarships to students admitted in the Selection Process:

a) NON-REIMBURSABLE SCHOLARSHIPS

a.1) Merit Scholarships - apply exclusively to students admitted through the Entrance Exam.

Merit scholarships will be awarded to the 2 (two) students with the highest scores in the Entrance Exam, in the following proportions and subject to the conditions below.

• Proportions:

• 1st (first) place – 100% (100 percent);

• 2nd (second) place – 100% (100 percent);

• If an applicant is admitted to FGV through the National High School Exam Selection Process and obtains one of the 2 (two) highest Entrance Exam scores, the merit scholarship is assured.

Scholarship conditions: To maintain this scholarship, the student must:

• hold a grade point average equal to or greater than 7.00 (seven);

• exhibit proper conduct, according to academic standards.

• not interrupt their studies in the course chosen in the Selection Process, except for the following cases: a) interruption due to a student exchange program promoted by the FGV/EAESP lasting no more than one school year, and b) being called to serve the Brazilian nation.

Merit scholarships are personal and non-transferrable; if the student who is awarded the scholarship chooses not to receive it or fails to enroll in the course, it cannot be transferred to a different student. In the case of re-admission, the student will not be entitled to the scholarship.

- Failure to meet the conditions to maintain the scholarship result in its definitive loss.

a.2) Need-based scholarships – applicable for students admitted in the Selection Process through either the National High School Exam or the University Entrance Exam.

- In all, as many as 6 (six) non-refundable full  scholarships (100%) will be awarded to students admitted through either the National High School Exam or the University Entrance Exam.

The scholarship will be awarded for 8 semesters and the 240 credits that make up the curriculum. Applicants for these scholarships will be selected based on the following criteria:

a) Proof of financial hardship;

b) performance in the selection process.

• Scholarship conditions: To maintain this scholarship, the student must:

• hold a grade point average equal to or greater than 7.00 (seven);

• exhibit proper conduct, according to academic standards;

• not interrupt their studies in the course chosen in the Selection Process, except for the following cases: a) interruption due to a student exchange program promoted by the FGV/EAESP lasting no more than one school year, and b) being called to serve the Brazilian nation;

• not undergo significant changes to their financial situation.

• Failure to meet the conditions to maintain the scholarship result in its definitive loss.

• Students attending undergraduate courses may not apply for a merit or need-based scholarship in case of re-admission in the course through a new selection process.

• Scholarships for economic necessity include tuition fees (40% of the monthly tuition) in case of participation in exchange program for up to one semester.

a.3) Other non-refundable grants may be awarded considering issues such as diversity and talent, defined according to criteria established by FGV/EAESP.

b) REIMBURSABLE SCHOLARSHIPS OR GRANTS – applicable for students admitted in the Selection Process through either the National High School Exam or the Entrance Exam.

São Paulo School of Business Administration (FGV/EAESP) awards scholarships and grants to undergraduate students with proven financial hardship, which must be reimbursed, free of interest, adjusted according to the General Market Price Index, as follows:

• Tuition scholarship (between 20% to 100% of the tuition fees for the semester).

• Grant for School Supplies (aid for the purchase of books and school supplies, awarded each semester).

• Food Grant (aid to purchase food, awarded each semester).

• Housing Grant (for students with financial hardship or non-residents of the City of São Paulo, awarded each semester).

• Transportation Grant (for students with financial hardship or non-residents of the City of São Paulo, awarded each semester).

Approval of the student’s application for a Reimbursable Scholarship or Grant awarded by the Scholarship Fund of FGV-EAESP is contingent upon the funds available for each semester, as well as the number of applications and the requested percentages.

• Scholarship conditions: To maintain this scholarship, the student must:

• hold a grade point average equal to or greater than 6.00 (six);

• exhibit proper conduct, according to academic standards;

Reimbursable Scholarships or Grants do not include funds for the following:

• additional credits needed due to failed grade in a class (incomplete credits);

• deferred enrollment.
